Cultivation environment

Idera Suppon is a suppon produced at the Idera Suppon Farm in Kumamoto Prefecture. Under the management of Chairman Idera, who has 35 years of experience in this field and is known as a leading expert in the industry, about 20 tons (equivalent to about 30,000 suppon) are produced annually in open-air tanks.

At the Idera Supon farm, the fish are raised slowly in spacious ponds on a 20,000-square-meter site with a total of 61 ponds, avoiding high-density aquaculture in order to keep the fish as close to their natural environment as possible.

Feed

The Idera Suppon Farm feeds its suppon only with feeds formulated by the farm.

The main ingredient, fishmeal, is domestically produced, and other nutrients are also from natural ingredients for a well-balanced feed.

Water

We use only 100% groundwater from the Kikuchi River water source, which was drilled exclusively for aquaculture and selected as one of the 100 best waters.
