Largest-ever Trekkers-only flea market centering on Pokéka and Yu-Gi-Oh! Trekkamarketfes", the largest flea market October 15 (Sun.) in Honmachi, Osaka

The Trekkamarketfes Steering Committee will hold Trekkamarketfes, a large-scale flea market limited to Trekkies, on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Osaka A Hall of the Sunrise Building in Honmachi, Osaka.

This year's flea market will be the largest ever held at a venue with a capacity of 1,000 people, where both individuals and stores can set up store. In addition to trading card sales, the event will also include guest events with popular unopened box prizes, and a luxurious Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament with a prize of an authenticated "Blue-Eyed White Dragon," a card very popular with collectors.

The trading card game has a large number of players and collector fans in Japan and abroad. World tournaments are held in many places, and in recent years, rare and popular cards are traded at high prices, attracting increasing attention from the public and greatly expanding the fan base from children to adults.

At the "Trekkamarketfes," a flea market event exclusively for Trekkas, in addition to a trading card exhibition and sale that will be open to both individuals and stores, the popular YouTuber "Wai TV," who is active as a music celebrity, will be invited to open Trekkas and win popular unopened boxes and other prizes. There will also be a guest event where you can win a prize, and the "LCC Cup," a Yu-Gi-Oh! competition sponsored by Vintage Card Japan, where the prize is an authenticated copy of "Blue-Eyed White Dragon," a very popular card among collectors that sells for several hundred thousand yen to several million yen.

This is the second Trekkamarket Fest, and the first one was a great success, with tickets sold out in advance. We received many comments in the questionnaire on the day of the event, such as "I wish the event would be held more often," "I wish the scale would be larger," and "It was a very enjoyable event," which led us to hold the second event.

The card titles are mainly Pokéka and Yu-Gi-Oh, but there are no restrictions as long as the cards are related to Trekkies. In addition, a trade corner for card collectors and a rest area are available at the venue, where visitors can watch the tournament on a large monitor while taking a break.
