The Idea Contest is a competition to see how well original robots made with robot kits that are normally used are completed. Judging will be based on design, uniqueness of concept, and ingenuity of structure and mechanism.

About the Grand Prize of the 13th Human Academy Robotics Classroom National Competition

The 13th Human Academy Robotics Classrooms National Competition is a nationwide competition in which more than 27,000 students from 1,700 schools nationwide submit their ideas for the Grand Prize. This year, the grand prize in the middle course category was awarded to Yuka Tonoshiro (4th grade elementary school student) from the Culture Box Steam School (Urawa Corso School), operated by our company.

Winning Robot Fortune-telling Robot "Urara-chan

I created this robot because I thought it would be nice if it could tell fortunes for the day before going to school in the morning.

When you tap your hand, the spinning roulette stops, and when you get a big fortune, it makes a sound.

The middle course can only use a sound sensor, so it was very difficult to come up with a mechanism that makes a sound when the robot reaches the "big lucky" spot.

We devised the connection of the buzzer and touch sensor, and adjusted the programming to complete the project.

We operate "Robot School" under a franchise agreement with Human Academy Co.

Using educational materials provided by Human Academy and our original guidance and approach, we have the largest number of students in Japan, focusing on "enhancing self-esteem and fostering the ability to play an active role in the future".
