Gifu Prefecture will launch the "Otoku Weekday★Gifu Tripipu" campaign from September 11, 2023 (Monday) to December 29, 2023 (Friday), offering electronic sightseeing coupon "Gifu Trip Coin" point cards ("Gifu Trip Coin") worth 1,000 yen per person per night when staying at a participating weekday-only plan. The campaign will begin on September 1, 2023.

In addition, from September 1, 2023 (Friday), NEXCO Central Japan (headquartered in Naka-ku, Nagoya City; President & CEO: Shunji Komuro) and the Gifu Prefecture Tourism Federation will collaborate to launch a "Quick Trip 'Gifu Trip Coin Included Drive Plan'" that includes the "Expressway Pass" and "Gifu Trip Coin" for unlimited travel on expressways within Gifu Prefecture at a reasonable fixed fare. The "Hayatabi "Drive Plan with Gifu Tabi Coins"" will be put on sale.

The "Gifu Tabi Coins" can be used at approximately 2,800 registered stores in the prefecture at the rate of 1 yen per point, allowing customers to enjoy discounts on souvenirs, food and beverages, etc.

This plan includes an Expressway Pass that allows unlimited rides on expressways in Gifu Prefecture for two or three consecutive days at a fixed fare, and "Gifu Travel Coin" worth 3,000 yen, including 1,000 yen for premium fare. This plan is about 15% cheaper than the "Hayatabi Gifu Prefecture Round Trip Drive Plan G-Wari" currently on sale, and about 55% cheaper than the regular expressway fare depending on how you use the plan.

What is "Gifu Tabi Coins"?

Gifu Tabi Coin is an electronic sightseeing coupon (electronic point) that can be used for purchasing souvenirs, eating and drinking, etc. while traveling within Gifu Prefecture. Gifu Tabi Coins cannot be used to pay for lodging.

The "Gifu TabiCoin" application must be downloaded from a smartphone to use the coupons.

The two-dimensional code on the point card to be distributed is read by the application and electronic points are earned.

The electronic points earned can be used at registered stores in the prefecture (approximately 2,800 locations) at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.
