Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development Corporation (MCUD; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masahito Tamura) announced today that it has acquired a site for the development of logistics facilities in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture from Sustech Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Hirotoshi Kitagaki), a Mitsubishi Corporation Group company. Construction of the development is scheduled to begin in the winter of 2023 and be completed in the fall of 2024.
MC plans to develop MCUD Hyogo-Tojo (tentative name) on the planned site. It is also located within the Hyogo Tojo Interpark, an industrial park developed by the Urban Renaissance Agency (then the Urban Renaissance Agency), providing a favorable environment for business operations, including 24-hour operation and frequent deliveries.
