NUARL's new "Overture" wired earphones with unique technology to find your own sound (ne)

(Location: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Keijie Zhang) announces the August 11, 2023 release of "NUARL Overture HDSS Hi-Res Stereo Earphones," a re-cableableable Hi-Res wired earphone with unique technology from its original brand "NUARL". Overture is NUARL's proprietary technology for re-cabling Hi-Res wired earphones.

Overture is a universal type of Hi-Res earphones like a custom IEM that allows users to personalize the sound of NUARL's proprietary technology to their own preference, from the volume of low frequencies and sound image localization to the fit of the earphones. The Overture earphones are also compatible with Pentaconn Ear, so you can find and enjoy the sound you like even more.

NUARL's unique single full-range dynamic driver

The unique "NUARL DRIVER [N10]v6" combines a φ10mm DLC (diamond-like carbon) diaphragm with a 7N grade (purity 99.99999%) OCC (monocrystalline high-purity oxygen-free copper wire) voice coil. The NUARL DRIVER [N10]v6 is a unique "NUARL DRIVER [N10]v6" that combines a monocrystalline high-purity oxygen-free copper wire voice coil with a powerful dual magnet magnetic circuit that uses the strongest grade higher grade neodymium magnets placed both inside and outside the voice coil to produce a highly detailed, yet rich sound.

Dual Chamber Driver Modules

Dual-chamber driver modules with two independent air chambers are installed by closing the front and rear sides of the driver. The dual-chamber driver module reproduces a sense of volume in the low-frequency range regardless of the size of the enclosure.

NUARL Phase Guide

The air chamber between the front of the driver and the nozzle is equipped with a unique NUARL Phase Guide made by 3D printing. This suppresses phase interference in the high frequency range and achieves both low distortion and efficacy, resulting in extended high frequencies.

■Hybrid HDSS

The world's first hybrid HDSS with two 3rd generation ETL acoustic modules in the driver's rear chamber and one in the front chamber is employed. This prevents distortion at high volumes and absorbs incidental sounds from the material, reproducing a clear, three-dimensional, natural sound spread over the entire frequency range.

■Selectable localization and volume

Includes two types of 4-step tonal nozzles (long and short) that can be adjusted by 2dB each only for bass sounds below 500Hz. This allows you to select not only the volume of the reproduced sound, but also the breadth and localization of the sound.

Stainless steel housing

The body is made of stainless steel with excellent rigidity, and is 5-axis CNC machined to create a combination of complex curves that cannot be achieved by casting or forging, thereby suppressing resonance inside the housing and creating a unique design that is easy to wear.

Thorough attention to sound quality

The drivers are aged for 100 hours before installation to stabilize the sound quality. The nozzle is made of brass to disperse the resonance point by changing the material of the nozzle and the chassis. For internal wiring and cable connections, 20% silver-containing Pb-free SnAgCu (tin-guin-dow) solder made in Japan is used. The cable uses a φ4.4mm gold-plated 5-pole plug and 7N OCC 0.06mm/7×7 8-core silver-plated copper wire for balanced stereo connection and is compatible with re-cabling using Pentaconn Ear. φ3.5mm unbalanced ⇔ φ4.4mm balanced conversion cable also uses 7N OCC 8-core silver The cable also uses a 7N OCC 8-core silver-plated copper wire.

■Three types of unique antibacterial earpieces are included*1

Three types of earpieces are included: "Block Ear+7" silicone earpieces that provide both comfort and sound insulation, "Block Ear+6N" earpieces with the same structure and shape but with a 1mm shorter shaft, and "Magic Ear+9" earpieces with low-resilience foam for better sound insulation. It is possible to optimize the wearing comfort and sound insulation to suit your preference.

■Convenient accessories

A PU earphone case is included for convenient portability. A magnetic cable clip is also included for bundling earphone cables or securing cables to clothing.

■Trade-up Service

Trade-up service from NUARL earphones is available. You can exchange your NUARL earphones for "Overture" for a fee. (Accepted at the official NUARL store*2)

■Security in case of emergency

In the event of loss of one side of the earphone, failure not covered by warranty (damage/failure caused by external factors such as dropping or submersion in water), or expiration of warranty, NUARL Care is available to purchase a new pair of the same product at a lower price on the condition that the replacement product is still in your possession.
